Dispute Resolution

Sometimes non-payment is the symptom, not the whole problem.

Not every unpaid account is a straightforward refusal to pay. Sometimes the stated obstacle is a genuine dispute, a broken line of communication or a commercially awkward stand-off. Justice Served seeks to clarify the position and move the matter towards a sensible outcome.

Constructive, practical and solution-led.

Where a dispute is genuine, the objective is not noise but progress. Where it is tactical or spurious, that also needs establishing quickly.

Our View

The first task is to discover whether the dispute is real.

Sometimes there is a genuine issue about quality, scope, timing or expectation. Sometimes a “dispute” appears only when payment becomes due. The difference is important.

We approach these matters with commercial judgement rather than immediate confrontation.

Commercial outcomes, not point-scoring.

Where a sensible resolution can be reached without unnecessary escalation, that is often the best result. Where it cannot, clarity about the true position becomes all the more valuable.

How We Assist

Clarify. Engage. Negotiate. Recommend.

01 Review Examine the debt, documentation and any stated basis for dispute.
02 Identify Establish whether the issue is factual, commercial, relational or tactical.
03 Engage Communicate directly to understand what is really blocking resolution.
04 Negotiate Seek a sensible commercial route where one genuinely exists.
05 Record Clarify the position and any offers, concessions or obstacles.
06 Recommend If resolution fails, advise on whether escalation is commercially worthwhile.

Typical Scenarios

  • An account is unpaid because the debtor asserts poor service or performance.
  • The parties are speaking past one another and the matter has stagnated.
  • A tactical “query” has arisen only after chasing becomes serious.
  • A compromise or payment plan may be possible if handled properly.

Our Standard

Clear without being combative.

A dispute page should not read like an invitation to grandstanding. We want clients to see that Justice Served can handle nuance without becoming hesitant, and can handle resistance without becoming theatrical.

That is precisely where a courteous, discreet and commercially grounded approach becomes a real strength.

Charging

Outside routine contingent recovery, this work may be time-based.

Constructive dispute work sometimes sits beyond the direct recovery process and may therefore be charged on an agreed hourly or fixed-fee basis. The position should be clear before work begins.

Used to create movement

Good dispute resolution is not endless mediation. Its value lies in restoring clarity, surfacing the real issue and creating a path to payment, settlement or informed escalation.
