Commercial Debt Recovery • England & Wales

How We Charge

Straightforward fees. Agreed in advance.

Justice Served aims to keep charging clear and proportionate. Where our fee is success-based, we get paid when you do. Where an instruction requires additional specialist work or third-party cost, that is explained before it is incurred.

Clarity matters.

Charging Principles

The essentials, plainly stated.

Success-based recovery Where our fee is contingent upon recovery, we get paid when you do.
Additional work explained first Tracing, field attendance, fixed-fee work, disbursements or other specialist services are discussed in advance.
Direct client payment Recovered funds are ordinarily paid by the debtor directly to the client. We then invoice the agreed fee.

Typical Categories

  • Commercial debt recovery commission.
  • Fixed fees for certain administrative or process services.
  • Tracing charges where tracing is required.
  • Field attendance charges where direct personal attendance is agreed.
  • Hourly charging for specialist work outside routine contingent recovery, where appropriate.
  • Third-party disbursements such as court fees or external professional costs.

Portfolio Users

Corporate and recurring instructions can be priced commercially.

For volume users or larger portfolios, terms can be discussed to reflect the age, value, profile and likely recoverability of the accounts.

The aim is a practical structure that rewards actual recovery rather than mere activity.

A Word About Disbursements

Some costs belong to third parties, not to us.

Court fees, Land Registry charges, external legal fees and similar items are not built into our own charging and should be understood separately.

Nothing hidden behind the slogan.

“We Get Paid When You Do” remains an important part of the Justice Served proposition, but it should never obscure the fact that some work or disbursements may properly involve separate agreed cost.
